"Dla zainteresowanych podaję instrukcję (opublikowaną przez "dbeyzade" na fordmondeo.org) aktualizowania oprogramowania (firmware) systemów audio Sony.
Oczywiście w większości naszych ASO, jeśli zapytamy o taką możliwość, otrzymamy odpowiedź, że się nie da lub mamy brak odpowiedzi.
Oto instrukcja:
1. Obtain and record the audio unit keycode and preset radio frequencies.
2. Connect the IDS portable diagnostic unit to the vehicle and establish communication (VID the vehicle).
3. Select the <Toolbox> tab at the top of the screen.
4. Select the <Module Programming>.
Press the tick.
5. Select <Module Reprogramming>, then select <ACM>.
Press the tick.
6. Press the tick then enter the VIN if required.
7. Select <YES> to accept the calibration update.
8. IDS will now check the calibration level of the audio unit.
Select <YES> then press the tick.
9. NOTE: The audio unit display will go blank during this process.
NOTE: If the calibration level is already at the latest level, IDS will display the message 'no later calibration is available'. This bulletin does not apply and further diagnosis will be necessary. For additional information, refer to Focus 2004.75 (07/2004-)/Focus C-MAX 2003.75 (06/2003-)/Mondeo 2001 (10/2000-) Workshop Manual Section 415-00, 415-00 Entertainment System - General Information - Diagnosis and Testing.
Follow the on screen instructions to program the audio unit.
10. Select the tick to confirm the calibration has loaded.
11. Follow the on screen instructions, ignoring the instruction to reprogram further modules.
12. Enter the preset radio frequencies.
13. Reprogramming is now complete. Run the <Self Test>. Clear any stored DTCs related to this concern and disconnect IDS from the vehicle."
